I feel like this place is a hole in the wall. Whenever I'm in Mobile, I always try my best to visit! I probably had this for the first time 4 years ago and it's always as good as that time. I love it! It is filling and you can definitely share.
from the outside it may not look all that great but this is the best brisket i’ve ever had at an amazing price. I will definitely be going back

Friendly BBQ joint, we found it on our way back from exploring Dauphin Island. Stopped right before closing at around 4:45pm, ordered about 5lb of meat and finished 99% of it Very comforting. We tried full rack of ribs, brisket and pulled pork. The ribs are definitely our fav. Pulled pork is nice and moist. Brisket is a bit dry and probably needs a bit more seasoning penetration. BBQ sauce is tangy and flavorful. Take out only but there is a small area out front if you just can’t wait. Oh ya and coleslaw is delicious! Owners said they’ve been there for over 12 years! Oh My God!!!! This place is the bomb!!!! If you like or love bbq you have to come here. Make sure and get the coleslaw because it's the best I have ever had. The brisket ribs chicken bbq sauce is awesome too.
If you are in the bayou during the week, this is the place to go get some of the best barbecue I have eaten and I have lived in texas, kansas city and multiple other places that brag about their bbq, Franks is ever bit as good! Pulled pork is yummy, and the ribs fall off the bone! Lots of options, including stuffed baked potato, may I want to call ahead for the potatoes they go quickly!
